The Karabakh Revival Fund Participates in the “Path to COP29” event with a “Green Corner”

On June 25, the second event of the “Path to COP29” program, organized by PASHA Holding and the United Nations Office in Azerbaijan, took place. The Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF) participated with a specially designed “Green Corner” dedicated to environmental protection, which garnered significant interest from attendees.

Visitors, including PASHA Holding’s clients and partners, explored the “Green Corner” and learned about the Fund’s projects. Detailed information was provided on initiatives aimed at restoring ecological balance in the liberated territories, supported and commissioned by the Karabakh Revival Fund.

Key highlights included:

  • The upcoming Fuzuli Central Park project, with plans visually presented through an interactive monitor.
  • Information about a forest of 30,000 trees to be planted at the entrance of Zangilan city.
  • Insights into the environmental devastation caused by Armenian forces in Karabakh, known as ecocide.

The “Path to COP29” program aims to foster collaboration and dialogue across various sectors to tackle global climate challenges. Future events in this series, supported by PASHA Holding, will involve participation from local and international media representatives, NGOs, and expert speakers from UN agencies.

During the two events held under this program, PASHA Holding staff, clients, and partners donated over 100 trees to support the Karabakh Revival Fund’s ecological projects. As a token of appreciation, PASHA Holding presented donors with symbolic potted plants.

This initiative reinforces the shared commitment to environmental sustainability and highlights the critical role of collective efforts in addressing global climate issues.
