19th of October marked the beginning of the 3rd Azerbaijan International the Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh Exhibition, titled "Rebuild Karabakh - 2023," held in Baku.

At the exhibition, which will continue on October 20-21, the Karabakh Revival Fund is participating for the third time.

Within the framework of the exhibition, two panel discussions were organized under the auspices of the Karabakh Revival Fund.

The first panel discussion, titled "The Return of Population to Liberated Territories, Better Reconstruction Activities" featured presentations and discussions by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev, the Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh economic region (excluding the Shusha region) Bashir Hajiyev, political analyst Farhad Mammadov and leading specialist on social development at the World Bank Erik Caldwell Johnson (presenting in video format).

Topics included a comprehensive overview of the projects implemented and planned in the liberated territories, the historical and political significance of the revival of Karabakh, the progressive role of intelligent rural and urban development in Karabakh's recovery, cooperation in reconstruction efforts, and other related issues.

The second panel discussion, titled "Restoration of Ecological Balance in the Liberated Territories" featured the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, Director of the Heydar Aliyev Modern Education Complex Aygun Mikayilova, President of the Public Council under the State Environmental Service Amin Mammadov, and Director of Ecohub Tukazban Huseynova.

Discussions centered around environmental conservation efforts in the liberated territories, the role of educational institutions in restoring ecological balance, addressing ecological damage from the occupation period, and collaboration between the government, private sector and civil society in turning Karabakh into a green zone.

Both panels were moderated by Parvin Baghirova, Director of the Fundraising and Communication Department of the Karabakh Revival Fund.

It's worth noting that "Rebuild Karabakh" serves as the only specialized exhibition dedicated to the restoration of Karabakh, playing a significant role in strengthening public-private partnerships supported by various government agencies and ministries.

The objective of the exhibition is to draw attention to the positive changes in Karabakh following its liberation, encourage business participation in the development and reconstruction of these territories, and promote investment in their infrastructure.
