Fatma Vidadi qizi Yildirim was born on January 12, 1973, in Baku, Azerbaijan, to an intellectual family. She graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Baku State University and holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics.
From 1994 to 2012, alongside her scientific and pedagogical activities, she held various leadership positions in human resources management in private companies.
Between 2012 and 2016, she served as the Deputy Head of the Legal and Organizational Support Department of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From 2016 to 2018, she was the Head of the Information Support and Human Resources Department at the State Housing Construction Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From 2018 to 2020, she held the position of Head of the Human Resources Department at the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She is a member of the New Azerbaijan Party. Since 2012, she has served as the Deputy Chairman of the territorial organizations of the New Azerbaijan Party in the state bodies where she worked, as well as the Chairperson of the United Trade Union Committee.
From 2000 to 2009, she headed the diaspora organization "Center of Azerbaijanis of Europe" operating in the Kingdom of Belgium.
In the parliamentary elections held on February 9, 2020, she was elected as a Member of the Milli Majlis (National Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the 93th Barda constituency for the 6th convocation. She is a member of the Milli Mejlis Committees on Natural Resources, Energy and Environment, as well as Science and Education.
In the parliamentary elections held on September 1, 2024, she was elected as a Member of the Milli Majlis (National Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the 93th Barda constituency for the 7th convocation
She is the head of the working group on interparliamentary relations with Saudi Arabia and a member of the working groups on interparliamentary relations with Belgium, Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Turkey.
She is a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly.
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 4, 2021, she was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund.
She is married and has two children.
