The Karabakh Revival Fund (hereinafter the Fund), established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated January 4, 2021, is a public legal entity that provides financial support and attracts investments to measures taken to restore and reconstruct the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as transform these territories into a region with sustainable economy and high prosperity. It also develops public-private partnership in this area, and carries out the informational, awareness-raising and promotional activities within and outside the country regarding the work being undertaken.
The Fund carries out its activities in conformity with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Charter of the Fund, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and other normative legal acts.
The Fund, while performing its duties and exercising its rights, operates in cooperation with state and local self-government bodies, international and non-governmental organizations, as well as other legal entities and natural persons.
According to the Charter approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Fund is engaged in activities of national and public significance.
The assets of the Fund are formed by donations from natural persons and legal entities, grants, and other sources not prohibited by law.
According to the Decree of the President, overall management and control over the activities of the Fund are exercised by the Supervisory Board.
The Supervisory Board is chaired by Mikayil Jabbarov, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Day-to-day administration of the activities of the Fund is carried out by the Executive Board, consisting of a Chairman and two Deputies.
According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 4, 2021, Rahman Hajiyev was designated as the Chairman of the Executive Board.
The powers of the founder of the Fund are exercised by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
