The Azerbaijan International Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Garabagh (“Rebuild Garabagh – 2026”), held at the Baku Expo Center from October 14 to 16, has concluded.

The Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF) successfully participated in the exhibition for the sixth time.

Exhibition visitors who stopped by the Karabakh Revival Fund’s stand received detailed information about the Fund’s activities, projects implemented and financially supported by the Fund in the liberated territories, projects currently underway, and various initiatives. Visitors were also shown videos highlighting the Fund’s activities and the restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in Garabagh and East Zangazur.

A dedicated display featuring photographs of Garabagh’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, selected lines from poems by renowned poets, folk songs and bayatis, as well as quotations about Garabagh from speeches by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev, and other prominent figures. This display attracted considerable interest from visitors.

The “Pearls of Karabakh” puzzle game, which has been presented to exhibition visitors for several years, was once again featured at the Fund’s stand. The game was updated to include, alongside Garabagh’s historical monuments, new buildings constructed after the Patriotic War.

In addition, for the first time this year, a quiz covering the history and culture of Garabagh, its prominent figures, and the Patriotic War was organized at the Fund’s stand. Participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge by answering questions and learn more about Garabagh in an interactive format.

Visitors who achieved high scores in both the puzzle game and the quiz received various gifts from the Fund, including T-shirts featuring symbols of Garabagh from the “Incredible Garabagh” collection.

As part of the exhibition, the Karabakh Revival Fund also organized two panel discussions. On the first day of the exhibition, October 14, a panel discussion titled “New Opportunities and Development Prospects for Young People in Garabagh” was held, featuring Member of Milli Majlis Shahin Seyidzade, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the Working Group of the “Yukselish” competition Farhad Hajiyev, Acting Executive Director of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yusif Valiyev, and Chief Human Resources Officer of “PASHA Bank” OJSC Zibeyda Hajiyeva.

Moderated by Parvin Baghirova, Head of the Fundraising and Communications Department of the Fund, the discussion addressed educational, employment, and career opportunities created for young people in the liberated territories; support for entrepreneurial initiatives and innovative ideas; the development of professional human resources; and young people’s participation in governance and decision-making processes, as well as their involvement in Garabagh’s restoration and reconstruction.

The second panel discussion, titled “Garabagh Realities: The Opportunities of Digital Media and Its Social Impact,” was held on October 15. Participants included Member of Milli Majlis Hikmat Babaoghlu, Director of “ASAN Radio and TV” Emin Musavi, Head of the Media Entities and Journalists Relations Department of the Media and Broadcasting Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Natiq Mammadli, Head of “ASAN AI Hub” Laman Ibrahimova, and Technology and Innovation Specialist Farid Pardashunas.

The panel discussion addressed the role of digital media in communicating the realities of Garabagh to the international community and preserving historical memory, the dissemination of information about restoration and reconstruction efforts in the global information space, combating disinformation, and improving media literacy. Participants also exchanged views on the impact of artificial intelligence on media operations and ensuring information security.

As part of the exhibition, visitors also had the opportunity to explore the photo exhibition titled “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance,” which showcases restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories.

The Karabakh Revival Fund’s active participation in the exhibition was also highly appreciated by the organizers. The Fund’s stand received a special certificate in the “Best Stand Design” category.

It should be noted that “Rebuild Garabagh” is the first and only specialized exhibition dedicated to the restoration of Garabagh. Supported by numerous government institutions and ministries, the exhibition also serves as an effective business platform for strengthening public-private partnerships.

The exhibition aims to draw attention to the positive changes taking place in Garabagh following its liberation from occupation and to restoration and reconstruction efforts, while encouraging businesses to participate in the development of these territories, contribute to infrastructure rehabilitation, and invest in the region.
