The Karabakh Revival Fund was represented at the International Media Forum held in Shusha

On July 22, 2022, on the occasion of National Press Day, the first-ever "International Media Forum: Global Trends and New Challenges in Media" was organized in Shusha by the Development Agency of the Media, with the aim of analyzing various trends in the global and local contexts of media, promoting knowledge and experience exchange around current issues, and expanding collaboration between local and international media representatives and stakeholders.

The event was attended by officials from international organizations, as well as media and public representatives from various countries around the world.

In his opening speech, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, read out the address of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to the participants of the forum.

During the presentation segment of the forum, Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Execuitve Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, emphasized the role of the media in promoting solidarity in the restoration of the liberated territories and strengthening our unity. He highlighted how the consistent message of our state leadership, both domestically and internationally, regarding the restoration of Karabakh and the double standards applied by international organizations, has remained unchanged for the past 30 years.

He underscored that Azerbaijan has demonstrated its ability to solve everything through its own power, both during the 44-day Patriotic War and in the immediate aftermath, through the restoration and reconstruction efforts led by the state leadership. However, he stressed the importance of all members of society supporting the measures taken for the revival of Karabakh to reduce the burden on the state and accelerate the restoration process.

Furthermore, Rahman Hajiyev provided detailed information to the participants about the activities, implemented and ongoing projects, partnerships, and future plans of the Karabakh Revival Fund.

In his address, Rahman Hajiyev congratulated everyone on the occasion of the first International Media Forum held in Shusha and expressed gratitude to the Development Agency of the Media for the invitation.
