On September 3, Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, met with a delegation led by Hayrettin Gungor, the President of the Kahramanmarash Metropolitan Municipality, which came to our country with a letter from the Union of Turkish Municipalities.
Fatma Yıldırım, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund and a member of parliament, also participated in the meeting.
Rahman Hajıyev, welcoming the guests, first provided detailed information on the main goals and objectives of the establishment of the Karabakh Revival Fund, the significance of the Victory achieved by the Victorious Azerbaijan Army led by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, in the 44-day Patriotic War, and the new challenges facing our people.
During the meeting, the head of the delegation, Hayrettin Gungor, expressed his satisfaction with his visit to the brotherly country and put forward a number of project proposals within the framework of cooperation with the Karabakh Revival Fund.
Fatma Yıldırım, a member of parliament, emphasized the value of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, stating that the union between the two brotherly countries resonates throughout the world.
A broad exchange of ideas on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties took place.
Later, a documentary film titled "Urbicide in Karabakh," reflecting the destroyed buildings and historical monuments in Karabakh, and a presentation video of the "Karabakh.Center" website, authored by the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, were presented to the guests.
Finally, souvenirs were presented by the representatives of the Union of Turkish Municipalities as a token of remembrance.
