Karabakh Revival Fund participated in the "Green Pavilion" at the "Road to COP 29" event organized by "PASHA Holding" and the United Nations in Azerbaijan.
On May 10, the first event within the framework of the "Road to COP29" program was held by "PASHA Holding" and the UN in Azerbaijan.
At the event, the Karabakh Revival Fund participated with the "Green Pavilion," which was specially prepared and dedicated to environmental protection. The pavilion garnered great interest from event participants.
Among the visitors to the pavilion were the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elnur Soltanov, the Chief Executive Officer for COP29 Azerbaijan, Vladanka Andreyeva from the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Azerbaijan, and employees of "PASHA Holding," who were introduced to the projects of the Karabakh Revival Fund as well as the "Green Pavilion."
Visitors to the "Green Pavilion" were provided with detailed information about environmental restoration projects in the liberated territories with the financial support and commission of the Fund, especially regarding the Fuzuli Central Park to be established in Fuzuli city. An interactive monitor displayed the park's plan vividly. Information was also provided about the establishment of a forest massif consisting of 30,000 trees at the entrance of Zangilan city.
Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the ecological damage caused by Armenian occupiers in Karabakh.
During the event, employees of "PASHA Holding" pledged 70 trees to the ecological projects currently being implemented by the Karabakh Revival Fund. Those who pledged were gifted with a symbolic plant by "PASHA Holding."
It should be noted that the main goal of the "Road to COP29" program is to foster joint action and dialogue among various sectors to combat global climate issues.
In this context, the next events organized with the support of "PASHA Holding" will involve the participation of local and international media representatives, clients, partners, and non-governmental organizations as beneficiaries, while experts from various UN agencies will be invited to speak.
