Charity Concert “Karabakh Night” Held in Baku at the Initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund

On July 10, 2024, the Karabakh Revival Fund organized the next “Karabakh Night” charity concert in partnership with the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall named after Muslim Magomayev.

Held for the third time, the concert was supported by Azerlotereya JSC and Reform Group LLC and received informational support from Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC.

The event was attended by government officials, members of parliament, representatives of donor companies and partners of the Karabakh Revival Fund who contributed to the reconstruction of the liberated territories, as well as renowned cultural and artistic figures.

In his opening remarks, Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, highlighted the main purpose of the concert, emphasizing that the funds raised will contribute to the reconstruction efforts in Karabakh:

“Following the glorious victory in the Patriotic War under the leadership of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, large-scale construction and rebuilding efforts are underway in the liberated territories. Today’s concert is held to support these reconstruction efforts.”

The Chairman also expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the concert and contributed to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the liberated territories by purchasing tickets.

Osman Karakus, Chairman of the Executive Board of Azerlotereya JSC, a partner of the concert, delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of supporting such initiatives and the significance of solidarity in reconstruction efforts.

The speeches were followed by the artistic segment of the event, where People’s Artist Anvar Sadigov, Honored Artist Emil Afrasiyab, and the instrumental ensemble “Gaytaghy” performed, offering a true musical feast to the audience.

After the artistic program, the event continued with an official reception. During the reception, the Karabakh Revival Fund presented special plaques and “Certificates of Appreciation” to the partners and donors who supported the organization of the concert, including the Ministry of Culture, Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall, Azerlotereya JSC, Reform Group LLC, Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, iTicket Production LLC, Aurora LLC, Veyseloglu Group of Companies, McDonald’s Azerbaijan JSC, Huner Group LLC, Caspian Event Organizers LLC, Baku Metro CJSC, as well as People’s Artist Anvar Sadigov, Honored Artist Emil Afrasiyab, Honored Artist Alekber Alekberov, and the members of the “Gaytaghy” instrumental ensemble.

It should be noted that the funds raised from the concert will be directed towards the reconstruction of cultural facilities in the liberated territories.

To recall, the first “Karabakh Night” charity concert was held on June 26, 2022, in Baku, and the second one took place on June 17, 2023, in Ganja.
