Karabakh Revival Fund and "AmCham Azerbaijan" Held Meeting on “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance”
The team of the Karabakh Revival Fund visited the “Mother’s Cry” memorial dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, on the occasion of its 33rd anniversary.
The collective members laid wreaths and bouquets of flowers in front of the memorial complex, deeply honoring the cherished memory of the victims of the genocide.
It should be noted that the Khojaly genocide is one of the most heinous crimes against humanity in history.
In this tragic event of the century, 613 residents of Khojaly were brutally killed, including 63 children, 106 women, and 70 elderly people. 8 families were completely annihilated, 25 children lost both parents, and 130 children lost one of their parents.
As a result of our country's glorious victory in the Patriotic War, the city of Khojaly was liberated from occupation. On October 15, 2023, President Ilham Aliyev raised the national flag of Azerbaijan in Khojaly.
Today, we honor the memory of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy with pride and dignity.
