The final stage of the " Yukselish" Competition has ended

Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, participated as a mentor in the final stage of the “Yukselish” competition.

Among the attendees were Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration Shahmar Movsumov; Chairperson of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues of the Presidential Administration Farah Aliyeva; Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov; Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev; Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov; Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov; Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov; Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov; Minister of Culture Adil Karimli; Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev; Minister of Health Teymur Musayev; Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev; Chairperson of the State Examination Center Maleyka Abbaszade; Ombudsperson Sabina Aliyeva; Chairman of the State Customs Committee Shahin Baghirov; Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova; Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov; Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov; Chairman of the Executive Board of the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance Zaur Aliyev; Chairman of the Presidium of the Bar Association Anar Baghirov; Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov; and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the “Yukselish” competition’s Working Group Farhad Hajiyev.

Participants completed tasks under the “Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)” case, observed by members of the Organizing Committee and mentors. After presenting their case solutions and answering questions from the mentors, they were evaluated by senior executives.

In a post shared on his social media account, Rahman Hajiyev stated that “Yukselish,” established on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, is not just a competition. It is a long-term investment in the country’s human capital—an effective social elevator thoughtfully designed to identify and empower talented individuals with leadership potential. This initiative brings forth a new generation of leaders for both the public and private sectors.

Together with the finalists, we worked through five complex and realistic executive-level cases. This process served as a serious test of the participants’ ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills under pressure.

In the final stage, participants demonstrated their knowledge and management skills by solving various scenarios based on the “Managerial Roles Model.”

Rahman Hajiyev stated that the “Yukselish” competition will continue for many years and play an important role in inspiring, selecting, and shaping the leaders of the future. He also expressed deep gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and for creating such a valuable platform.
