
A panel discussion on Karabakh's revival and Azerbaijan’s new development model was held at the “Rebuild Karabakh – 2025” exhibition, organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF).
The discussion brought together Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund; Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication; Ilgar Isbatov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture; Farid Mammadov, Chief Executive Officer of Caspian Event Organisers; Elman Javanshir, Director of Tabaterra CJSC; and Kamil Aliyev, Director for Real Estate Development at PMD Group LLC.
Parvin Baghirova, Head of the Fundraising and Communications Department of the Karabakh Revival Fund, moderated the panel as speakers addressed key topics such as introducing new urban planning principles in the liberated territories, integrating the region into Azerbaijan’s and the global economy, providing practical examples of public-private partnerships, and identifying the main challenges expected in the upcoming stages of development.
Speakers emphasized that Karabakh is emerging not only as an economic and investment hub but also as a cornerstone of Azerbaijan’s new and sustainable development model. It was also noted that the region offers broad opportunities for investors, entrepreneurs, and experts, creating a favourable environment for cooperation and innovative initiatives.
Following the presentations, the speakers answered numerous questions from the participants.
At the conclusion of the event, the panelists were presented with special plaques, certificates, and olive tree saplings by the Karabakh Revival Fund in honour of the upcoming Victory Day anniversary.
