On October 14, the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Exhibition on the Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh — “Rebuild Karabakh – 2025” — commenced its work in Baku as part of the Caspian Construction Week.
As in previous years, the Karabakh Revival Fund is taking part in the “Rebuild Karabakh – 2025” exhibition with the aim of informing a broad audience about the restoration and reconstruction projects being implemented in the liberated territories, as well as about the Fund’s activities and efforts to promote a culture of donations among citizens, thereby encouraging wider public participation in this vital national mission.
On the first day of the exhibition, which runs from October 14 to 16, visitors to the stand of the Karabakh Revival Fund were briefed in detail about the Fund’s activities, its projects and initiatives aimed at providing financial support for the restoration of the liberated territories. Special video clips highlighting the Fund’s mission and ongoing efforts were also presented.
Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Mr. Rahman Hajiyev, informed Mr. Elnur Baghirov, Chairman of the State Agency for Antimonopoly Supervision and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Masim Mammadov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district, Mr. Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilgar Isbatov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as other officials, about the projects and initiatives implemented by the Fund.
It should be noted that on the first day of the exhibition, a panel discussion titled “Revival of Karabakh and Azerbaijan’s New Development Model” was held under the organization of the Karabakh Revival Fund.
The panel brought together Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund; Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication; Ilgar Isbatov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture; Farid Mammadov, Chief Executive Officer of Caspian Event Organisers; Elman Javanshir, Director of Tabaterra Closed Joint-Stock Company; and Kamil Aliyev, Director for Real Estate Development at PMD Group LLC.
During the discussion, the participants addressed new urban planning principles being applied in the liberated territories, the integration of the region into the national and global economy, practical examples of public-private partnerships, and the key challenges anticipated in the next stage of development.
It should be emphasized that the exhibition also presented the photo album “Wounded Heritage: Silent witnesses” — a joint project of the Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism, the Ministry of Culture, and the Karabakh Revival Fund.
The album, devoted to the destruction of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage during the years of occupation, was prepared using photographs from various archives, including those of the “Karabakh.Center” project and the personal collection of world-renowned photographer Reza Deghati.
In addition to the Fund’s main stand, a special installation was set up in the foyer of the Baku Expo Center to draw attention to efforts aimed at restoring ecological balance in the liberated territories and to encourage public participation in tree-planting initiatives.
Visitors who wish to contribute to this meaningful cause may make donations directly at the stand and thus become part of this important environmental mission.
As part of its initiatives, the Karabakh Revival Fund has prepared a special “Victory Donation Certificate” dedicated to Victory Day, established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev to commemorate the historic triumph achieved in the Patriotic War.
Within the framework of the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to view the photo exhibition “From Tragedy to Triumph”, which reflects the large-scale restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories.
Everyone wishing to learn more about the ongoing revival of our native Karabakh and to contribute personally to this noble cause is cordially invited to visit the “Rebuild Karabakh – 2025” exhibition, including the stand of the Karabakh Revival Fund.
