The photo exhibition “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance”, organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund, opened on November 5 at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The exhibition will run until November 12.
Featuring 25 striking photographs, the exhibition is displayed in the departure and arrival zones of Terminal 1 at the airport.
Based on the impactful photographs featured in the book of the same name by British author Graeme Wilson, the exhibitions held in various locations aim to raise awareness among both local audiences and international visitors about the extensive reconstruction and development efforts underway in the liberated territories. Through these compelling visuals, they vividly portray the new face of Karabakh — a homeland that is being revived and flourishing with each passing day.
The photographs taken across the liberated areas reflect the vast scale of reconstruction and urban development being carried out in Karabakh under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the restoration of historical and cultural heritage, and the progress achieved in strengthening social infrastructure. The exhibition also showcases the region’s rich natural environment and its rare flora and fauna.
Following its display at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the exhibition will later be presented in major shopping centers and several other venues across Baku.
Since its establishment, the Karabakh Revival Fund has been actively engaged in raising awareness about the realities of Karabakh and in promoting truth about the restoration and reconstruction processes in the liberated territories.
It should also be noted that the presentation of the book “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance” by British author Graeme Wilson will be held soon.
