On November 6, 2025, an event dedicated to Victory Day was held at the State Examination Center, attended by Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairperson of the Board of the SEC, Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, as well as representatives of both institutions and SEC employees who participated in the 44-day Patriotic War.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s territorial integrity.

Opening the event, Maleyka Abbaszade emphasized that the glorious victory achieved in the Second Karabakh War became a source of national pride:

“We are grateful to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, to our martyrs, veterans, soldiers, and officers — to the valiant Azerbaijani Army — for this historic victory. In our country, state support for the families of martyrs and veterans is a top priority and remains at the center of government attention. The State Examination Center also contributes in this area, providing practical support to family members of martyrs and veterans in their education, career planning, and professional development.”

She also underlined the importance of every citizen’s participation in the restoration of the liberated territories and noted that, to support the greening of Karabakh on the occasion of Victory Day, 318 trees — one on behalf of each SEC employee — had been donated to the Karabakh Revival Fund.

In his speech, Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Karabakh Revival Fund, drew attention to the large-scale reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev. He noted that, alongside the restoration of cities, villages, and infrastructure, special importance is also attached to restoring ecological balance in these regions.

Mr. Hajiyev emphasized that many government institutions and companies have already made contributions to the Fund’s projects, and expressed his gratitude to the SEC team, led by Maleyka Abbaszade, for their contribution to the environmental restoration of Karabakh, describing this step as another example of the Azerbaijani people’s solidarity.

At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Fund thanked the entire SEC team for their initiative and presented Maleyka Abbaszade with a special Certificate of Donation.
