On November 20, 2025, the Marketing, Communications, and Business Development (MCBD) Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham Azerbaijan) held its latest “Lead Talk” session.

Dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Victory Day, the event featured Mr. Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF), as the distinguished guest speaker.

Opening the session, Ms. Aysel Suleymanova, Chairperson of the MCBD Committee, welcomed the participants and highlighted the significance of the “Lead Talk” series as a meaningful platform for fostering dialogue between the public and private sectors. She underlined that the initiative provides an essential space for discussing narratives that define Azerbaijan’s identity and its positioning in the global arena.

Emphasizing the timeliness of the topic, Ms. Suleymanova noted that the past five years have marked a turning point for Azerbaijan, stressing that strategic communication has played a crucial role in strengthening national pride and achieving development objectives.

In his address, Mr. Rahman Hajiyev delivered a detailed presentation on the Karabakh Revival Fund’s fundraising and communication strategy, outlining its core projects and the large-scale reconstruction and development works currently underway in the liberated territories under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

Reflecting on the significance of the fifth anniversary of Victory Day, Mr. Hajiyev emphasized that this historic occasion—celebrated each year with profound pride and honor—symbolizes the national unity, determination, and perseverance of the Azerbaijani people. He noted that the Victory achieved under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, represents not only the liberation of Azerbaijan’s lands but also the triumph of national spirit, justice, and sovereignty.

Mr. Hajiyev underlined that the Fund’s communication strategy is grounded in its core values — solidarity, transparency, social responsibility, and humility. This approach, he said, strengthens nationwide unity by enhancing synergy between state and society while fostering an open, trustworthy, and accountable model of communication.

According to Mr. Hajiyev, the Fund’s messaging is tailored to different target audiences, and its communication efforts go beyond the mere delivery of information — they also serve to educate, inspire solidarity, and promote messages that reinforce unity and national values.

Speaking about the Fund’s initiatives, Mr. Hajiyev noted that they cover key areas such as reconstruction, social development, and the creation of a sustainable living environment. He emphasized the vital contribution of donors — including government institutions, private-sector representatives, and individual supporters — whose involvement expands the Fund’s reach and strengthens public–private cooperation in rebuilding Karabakh.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, during which Mr. Hajiyev answered numerous questions from participants.
