About project

  • Organizers: Gazakh Teachers' Seminary / ADA University Gazakh Center, Karabakh Revival Fund, Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except for Shusha district).
  • Participants: A total of 735 students in teams of 5-7 participants from 37 cities and districts of Azerbaijan

The first project-based learning Olympiad entitled " Young Builders of Azerbaijan" was held with the initiative and organization of the Gazakh Teachers' Seminary / ADA University Gazakh Center, and the support of the Karabakh Revival Fund and the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except for Shusha district).

The primary purpose of the first nationwide project-based learning Olympiad was to ensure that students acquire project-based knowledge, encourage them to use their knowledge about Karabakh in practice, as well as support the development of their research, presentation, analytical and creative thinking skills.

At the Olympiad held under the slogan "Restoration of Karabakh through the eyes of students", a total of 735 students in teams of 5-7 participants from 37 cities and districts of Azerbaijan, except for Baku and Sumgayit, presented their projects focusing on the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories.  

After the 5 teams that qualified for the Finals presented a video summary of their projects, the names of the winners were announced, they were awarded certificates and gifts, and a commemorative photo was taken.

Winners:

  • First Place: "Chapar" project, Chemistry-oriented Lyceum, Sheki city.
  • Second Place: "Fi" project, School named after Samad Vurgun, Yevlakh city.
  • Third Place: "Return" project, Takhtakorpu district Secondary school, Lachin.
  • Fourth Place: "Karabakhname" project, School No. 3 named after Nail Ibrahimli, Oghuz city.
  • Fifth Place: "Ultimate" project, School specialized in Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics, Ganja city.
