“Baku Marathon 2023”

Participation of the Karabakh Revival Fund in the "Baku Marathon 2023":

On May 7, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized the annual Baku Marathon.

The Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF) participated as a partner in this year’s marathon, held under the slogan "Win the Wind."

In the marathon’s fan zone, the “Marathon Garden” green pavilion, specially designed by the KRF, attracted significant interest from participants.

Visitors to the pavilion, including prominent public figures, veterans, marathon participants, and other guests, received extensive information about the Fund’s activities and the projects it has implemented.

Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to explore the "Urbicide in Karabakh" photo exhibition, featuring images of cities, villages, historical, and religious monuments destroyed by Armenian occupiers. The photo exhibition, organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund based on materials from the "Karabakh.Center" online resource created at the initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban khanim Aliyeva.

Visitors also contributed to the establishment of the "Marathon Garden" in Karabakh by donating trees through payment terminals and smartphones set up at the stand. Donors received a special "Donation Certificate" in recognition of their contribution.

It should be noted that more than 50 members of the Baku Marathon Club represented the Karabakh Revival Fund in the race.

The club’s team, together with Karabakh Revival Fund’s staff, competed under the slogan “Win for Karabakh!" on behalf of the Fund.

Note: The Karabakh Revival Fund, with financial support from its donor Stevedoring company, plans to establish the "Marathon Garden" in Karabakh in honor of the winners of the "Baku Marathon 2023".
