Preparation of design and estimate documentation for Fuzuli Central Park

General Information

As is known, large-scale projects are currently being successfully implemented to restore and reconstruct the liberated territories, following the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

Special attention is being paid to the restoration of the ecological balance in these areas as part of the ongoing work. Within this framework, the establishment of a Central Park on a 22.47-hectare site in the city of Fuzuli is envisaged.

"By Medgalchi," a company contracted by the Karabakh Revival Fund, is preparing the design and estimate documentation for the park's construction.

The park will play an important role in promoting ecotourism and preserving biodiversity.

The unity of modernity and national-cultural heritage, which will be taken into account during the creation of the park, will contribute to the further beautification of the city of Fuzuli. The park will include recreation areas, multifunctional open green spaces, catering zones, picnic and sports areas, running tracks, bicycle paths, an amphitheater, and other facilities.

Stages of Implementation

The "Preparation of the Construction Project" work consists of the following stages:

• Preparatory work;
• Development of the concept design;
• Preparation of the technical design;
• Expert review of the project and obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.

It should be noted that the preliminary conceptual design of Fuzuli Central Park and information about the current state of the area were presented during the visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to Fuzuli district on May 10, 2022.

During the presentation, the President and First Lady gave relevant instructions and recommendations on the establishment of the park, and at the same time, in accordance with this project, the first trees of Fuzuli Central Park were planted with the participation of the country's leadership, marking the start of the project's implementation.
