On May 10, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Fuzuli region.

During the visit, President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva planted plane trees in the area designated for the central park in Fuzuli city.

It should be noted that, based on the new Master Plan of Fuzuli city, the establishment of the central park is envisaged to meet the demand for mass recreation of the population to be settled there.

Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, provided detailed information to the country's leadership and the First Vice President about the project of the park. It is emphasized that the complex park to be created will not only be transformed into a space enabling the efficient spending of leisure time for city residents but will also create conditions for the establishment and preservation of a healthy and natural ecological environment.

The project envisions the creation of recreation areas, open green spaces, areas for picnics and sports, an amphitheater, cafes-restaurants, etc., within the park area.

At the same time, considering the relief and ecological environment of the area, planting of various tree species such as oriental plane, oriental beech, Leyland cypress, Italian stone pine, oak, willow, olive, etc., as well as various decorative shrubs and flowers is planned.

It is worth mentioning that the project is being implemented with the financial support of the Karabakh Revival Fund.
