Project overview:

The "Karabakhmemorial.com" project, dedicated to the memory of civilian victims who lost their lives as a result of war crimes committed by the Armenian armed forces against peaceful residents in cities and towns far from the conflict zones during the Patriotic War, was initiated by the esteemed First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban khanim Aliyeva. The project was developed within the framework of the "Karabakh.Center" initiative, which aims to systematize and disseminate objective information to the wider public about the causes of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and the consequences of Armenia's aggression.

The primary goal of the "Karabakhmemorial.com" web resource is to inform the global community about the consequences of terror inflicted on civilians by the Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War, disregarding the norms and principles of international humanitarian law.

From September 27 to November 10, 2020, as a result of crimes committed by the Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijan's civilian population, 93 people, including 12 children and 27 women lost their lives, and 454 people were injured.

During the Patriotic War, nearly 30,000 shells and 227 rockets were fired at the districts and cities of Azerbaijan. Extensive damage was inflicted on private homes, auxiliary structures, apartment buildings, non-residential areas, administrative buildings belonging to various state institutions, as well as religious sites, mosques, churches, and cemeteries.
