About project

Project overview:

  • Author of Idea: “Karabakh.Center” project was created by Karabakh Revival Fund at the initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban khanim Aliyeva.
  • Partners: Azertaj State News Agency and Azerbaijan TV and Radio Broadcasting CJSC (AzTV).

The "Karabakh.Center" web resource implemented by Karabakh Revival Fund at the initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban khanim Aliyeva, was created to systematize and bring the attention of a wider community to unbiased information about the causes of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and the consequences of Armenia's aggression.

This web resource provides numerous materials that, through specific examples, allow users to understand the scale of the damage inflicted on the material and cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people in Karabakh, as well as the region's biodiversity and natural resources.

The website features over 10,000 photos and video recordings of destroyed and severely damaged sites located in previously occupied territories.

All photos and videos can be found in the "Urbicide" section of the website.

Here, visitors can also view hundreds of photos of architectural monuments taken before the occupation, highlighting the stark contrast between the flourishing appearance of the region in the past and the devastating results of Armenian occupation.

In the "Conflict" and "Crime" sections, readers are presented with exclusive analytical materials and historical documents prepared by professional researchers and journalists, covering the causes and outcomes of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.

It should be noted that this online resource is expected to attract the attention of both a wide audience interested in the South Caucasus and professional experts. The platform offers not only engaging research materials but also numerous original sources (including archival documents, books, reports, etc.) available in the "Library" section.
