Concert Overview:

On September 22, 2024, a charity concert titled “Night of Karabakh - Shusha” was held in the city of Shusha, known as the cradle of Azerbaijani music. The charity concert was organized at the initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund with support of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Shusha City State Reserve Department.

At the concert held within the framework of the Uzeyir Hajibeyli XVI International Music Festival, dedicated to the donation of a grand concert piano by "YAMAHA" to the city of Shusha, government officials, donors and partners of the Fund, renowned figures from culture and the arts, and residents of Shusha participated.

The musical instrument in question was purchased with the funds raised from the sponsorship and ticket sales of the "Night of Karabakh" 2022 charity concert.

Following introductory speeches, the event continued with a captivating artistic program. People’s Artist Farhad Badalbeyli, world-renowned tenor Yusif Eyvazov, and other prominent artists, including Yegana Akhundova (piano), Gulnaz Ismayilova (soprano), Mahir Taghizade (baritone), Nazrin Aslanli (violin), and Gamar Karimli (violin), performed alongside the Baku Chamber Orchestra under the artistic direction and chief conductor, Honored Artist Fuad Ibrahimov. The concert, lasting over an hour, offered guests an unforgettable musical experience.

World-famous tenor Yusif Eyvazov delivered stunning performances of Azerbaijani classical music as well as Italian classical compositions and Neapolitan songs.

Maestro Farhad Badalbeyli’s original compositions, including “The Sea” and “Ave Maria” were met with great admiration from the audience.

It should be noted that the “Night of Karabakh” charity concert, organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund to attract donations for the revival of Karabakh, promote active participation, and foster a purposeful and conscious approach among individuals, has been held over the years with the support of the Fund’s corporate donors, including Aurora Group, “ITALDESIGN” CJSC, Veyseloglu Group of Companies, “Azerlotereya” OJSC, and Reform Group LLC.
