The winners of the "Baku Marathon 2023", organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF), went on a trip to Fuzuli city and other liberated territories to become acquainted with the area where the "Marathon Garden" will be established.

Participants of the trip included local winners of the "Baku Marathon - 2023", members of the Baku Marathon Organizing Committee and Baku Marathon Club, as well as employees of the Karabakh Revival Fund.

During the trip, the participants familiarized themselves with the area designated for the Fuzuli Central Park, where the "Marathon Garden" will be located, with support and financial assistance of the Karabakh Revival Fund. They received comprehensive information about the park and took commemorative photos.

According to the information provided by the employees of the Foundation, it is planned to establish the "Marathon Garden" specifically within the area of the park.

Participants visited historical sites in Shusha city and toured the cultural and historical monuments.

It's worth noting that the Baku Marathon, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, took place on May 7. The Karabakh Revival Fund participated as a partner under the slogan "Küləyə qalib gəl". Within the Marathon's fan zone, the Fund set up a special green pavilion named "Marathon Garden".

The pavilion was visited by prominent public figures, winners, Marathon participants, and other individuals, who were provided with extensive information about the Fund's activities and implemented projects.

During the race, more than 50 members of the Baku Marathon Club also participated on behalf of the Karabakh Revival Fund. The Club's team, alongside the Fund's employees, competed under the slogan "Victory for Karabakh!".

to draw the attention of marathon participants and spectators to the damage inflicted on the environment surrounding Karabakh as a result of Armenian occupation and the necessity of its restoration, the Karabakh Revival Foundation and the donor of the Foundation, the "Stevedoring" company, aim to establish the "Marathon Garden" in the territories liberated from occupation, through the financial support of the winners of the "Baku Marathon – 2023”.

The "Stevedoring" company has donated 1500 trees for the planting of trees in the garden area.
