Participants of the international scientific-practical conference held in Ganja were introduced to the "Urbicide in Karabakh" photo exhibition
In Ganja, an international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held on the topic "National ecological priorities and global economic threats: new challenges, opportunities, and perspectives."
Organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center, the conference was initiated by the Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology Committee of the National Assembly, with the support of the Ministry of Education, the Executive Power Ganja city, and jointly organized by Ganja State University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), and Nakhchivan State University.
Participants of the conference were acquainted with the "Urbicide in Karabakh" photo exhibition organized based on the materials of the "Karabakh.Center" internet resource created by the Karabakh Revival Fund, at the initiative of First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva.
The exhibition depicted unprecedented destruction perpetrated by Armenians in the liberated territories and showcased the serious environmental damage caused by ecological terror, as well as the current and pre-occupation state of our historical and religious monuments.
It was highlighted by the Fund's representatives that the eco-side and urban-side photo exhibition has been presented in various formats and venues to date, illustrating the destruction inflicted by Armenian vandals on our cities and villages during the 30-year occupation period, as well as the current state of our historical and religious monuments compared to their pre-occupation condition.
Notable attendees of the conference included the Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology Committee Sadig Gurbanov, the Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov, as well as the Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov, the head of Ganja City Executive Power Niyazi Bayramov, the Consul General of Turkey in Ganja, the rectors of Belarus State University of Economics and Ganja State University, along with representatives of several government agencies, including the Karabakh Revival Fund.
