The Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund met with young justice workers and volunteers at the Ministry of Justice

Today, on the occasion of Youth Day observed in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a video event on "The Role of Youth in the Revival of Karabakh" was held with young justice workers and volunteers at the Ministry of Justice.

On January 5th, as part of the declaration of "Shusha Year" in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022 by the President of the country, a significant event was organized to discuss the monumental construction works carried out in our ancestral lands liberated from the 30-year Armenian occupation under the leadership of the head of state and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva's initiative.

Invited to speak on the subject, Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, provided detailed information about the damage inflicted on Karabakh as a result of the occupation by Armenia, its appalling scale and the new realities created after the historic victory.

While discussing the damages, Rahman Hajiyev highlighted the objective of the "Karabakh.Center" internet resource, which was created to systematize and deliver objective information to the public about the reasons behind the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and the consequences of Armenia's aggression, an initiative pioneered by the esteemed First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva.

The Chairman of the Executive Board emphasized the importance of applying the most modern standards and innovative solutions set by the head of state in the restoration works, underscoring the significance of extensive reconstruction efforts in Karabakh in a short period.

Rahman Hajiyev provided detailed information to the young justice workers and volunteers about the activities, priority directions and goals of the Karabakh Revival Fund, established by the decree of the head of state, aimed at providing financial support, attracting investments, developing public-private partnerships in this field and implementing necessary promotional activities both domestically and internationally to restore and rebuild our liberated territories, transform them into resilient economies and prosperous regions.

He emphasized the importance of solidarity and unity among all members of society, especially the youth who play a leading role, in promoting awareness about this crucial mission for the revival of Karabakh.

The young justice workers expressed their eagerness to work more responsibly and passionately to assist the head of state in the comprehensive development of our homeland, fulfilling their duties with honor.

As part of the continuation of the event, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Justice Togrul Musayev, a visit to the Ministry of Justice was organized, where they familiarized themselves with the museums dedicated to the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the history of justice, as well as the exhibitions dedicated to the Patriotic War and the extensive restoration and construction works in our liberated territories. Information was provided about the work carried out in the justice system in line with the state youth policy.

It was noted that currently, about half of the employees working in the justice system are young people. Overall, as a result of transparent elections, more than 3,200 individuals, the majority of whom are young people, have been recruited to work in the justice organs. Over 200 highly qualified justice workers have been promoted to responsible and leadership positions in all three branches of government today.

Furthermore, in recent years, more than 3,500 young people have been involved in voluntary activities in the field of justice, with nearly 200 of them being permanently employed in justice organs.

The deputy minister, reflecting on the 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan Youth Day established by the decree of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on February 1, 1997, especially highlighted the decisive role of young people in the Patriotic War. He emphasized that, as emphasized by the head of state in his speeches, the majority of those who fought for the homeland, even young people who did not see Karabakh or experience its bitter history, constituted them. He noted that their heroism serves as an example to future generations.

During the victorious parade led by the Victorious Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, the bravery, integrity and dedication of young justice workers and volunteers were highlighted, emphasizing their eligibility for state honors. It was noted that the Ministry has shown special sensitivity to the applications of participants in the Patriotic War and the families of our martyrs and more than 40 such individuals have been recruited into the justice system in recent times.

R. Hajiyev noted that young people are widely represented in all areas of national life today, including state administration and emphasized their significant role in the liberation of our native lands from occupation. Referring to the activities of the institution he represents, he mentioned that justice workers have been making voluntary donations to the Karabakh Revival Fund since its inception, expressing gratitude for the support and stating readiness for joint events between the Ministry of Justice and the Fund to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism.
