Karabakh Revival Fund, in collaboration with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, "Pasha Holding" LLC, "Universal Group" LLC, "Pasha Bank" OJC, "Kapital Bank" OJC, "Pasha Life Insurance" OJC, "Pasha Insurance" OJC, "Pasha Investments" LLC, "Competo" LLC, "Agro Dairy" LLC, "Azerbaijan Supermarket" LLC, and "Pasha Travel," launched the "From Victory to Revival" campaign in Zangilan on December 17, 2021.

The initiative aims to restore ecological balance, promote tree planting to protect the environment, increase the biodiversity of Karabakh and the country, and raise awareness about the preservation of greenery.

As part of the project, 30,000 trees will be planted on a 30-hectare area near the entrance of Zangilan city, mainly consisting of native species such as Eldar oak, Evergreen oak, Ash, Quercus castaneifolia, and Oriental plane tree, which are suitable for the local climate conditions.

During the initial phase of the project, 1,000 trees of various species were already planted in accordance with the soil and climate conditions. The event was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, members of the Karabakh Revival Fund's Supervisory Board, including Muxtar Babayev, Rahman Hajıyev, and donor companies supporting the project.

The completion of the project is planned for the autumn of 2022. All activities related to the establishment of a sustainable forest ecosystem, such as energy supply and irrigation system installation, are carried out in accordance with forest restoration requirements.

It is noteworthy that this project is the first joint initiative between the Karabakh Revival Fund and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to restore ecological balance and promote sustainable development in the liberated territories. Similar projects will continue in other liberated areas.

Continuous monitoring through drone, photo, and video recordings will be conducted to observe the development of the forest massif, and the images will be posted on the Fund's website in a dedicated section for this project.

The participation of partners in this initiative will symbolize the international community's continuous support for Karabakh's sustainable future. Future generations will enjoy the shade and natural recreation areas created by these forests, benefiting from a blooming region and a healthy ecosystem.

At the end of the event, participants visited the Martyrs' Alley in Zangilan, laying wreaths on the graves of the martyrs of the First Karabakh War.

Everyone is invited to join this important mission and contribute to the revitalization of Karabakh, making it greener together!
