A selection stage of works dedicated to Karabakh has been organized

In the framework of a magnificent project initiated and organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund, with the organizational support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, a selection tour of painting and sculpture examples dedicated to the mysterious nature, historical monuments of Karabakh, as well as restoration and reconstruction topics in the liberated territories, was held by young artists.

The selection of works was attended by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts (ASAFA), People's Artist Natiq Aliyev, the President of the Union of Azerbaijani Artists, People's Artist Farhad Khalilov, the Director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, Honored Art Worker Chingiz Farzalibayov, the Vice-Rector for International Relations of ASAFA, People's Artist Selhab Mammadov, the Vice-Rector for Science and Creativity of ASAFA, People's Artist Fuad Salayev, and the Vice-Rector for General Affairs of ASAFA, Haji Mail-zade.

It should be noted that out of 232 works displayed in the competition, attended by 84 students, 22 painting and sculpture examples were selected to advance to the next stage.

As a result of the discussions, it was decided to prepare works consisting of monumental artistic and painting examples of great spiritual value related to Karabakh. These works are intended to be published later in the form of a catalog.

It is worth mentioning that comprehensive information regarding the project will be provided to the public in the coming days.
