Karabakh Revival Fund organized a working meeting on the restoration of ecological balance, biodiversity, and the "Green Karabakh" concept in the liberated territories.
The event was attended by special guests, including the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Mukhtar Babayev, and representatives of donor companies that have been supporting the Fund from its inception.
Welcoming the guests, Rahman Hajıyev, the Chairman of Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, expressed his gratitude for their participation in the discussion meeting aimed at sustainable settlement and development in the region through joint efforts to restore ecological balance and natural objects in the liberated territories.
Highlighting the ecological terror inflicted on Azerbaijan's forest fund areas during the occupation period and the plundering of the region's natural resources by the enemy, Rahman Hajıyev showcased the "Ecocide in Karabakh" video series and presented the Fund's initiatives in this regard.
The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev, emphasized that such initiatives would contribute to the continuous support for Karabakh's sustainable future.
During the meeting, discussions were also held on promoting corporate philanthropy culture. At the end of the event, donors who supported the work in the liberated territories, including the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "PASHA Bank" OJSC, "Avrora Group", "Stevedoring" LLC, Trade Union of Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Heydar Aliyev Modern Education Complex, "Gilan Holding", and "Libraff", were awarded with "Donor Certificates".
Additionally, all participants were presented with symbolic tree saplings as gifts in line with the purpose of the meeting.
