A meeting was held between the representative delegation of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the Chairman of Executive Board of of the Karabakh Revival Fund on December 13.
İn attendance were Dr. Farid Ahmed Khan, Country Operations Manager of the Islamic Development Bank; Zakky Bantan, Head of the Treasury Department's Financing Division; Kokhorjon Aminov, Head of Operations Group; Ahmed Faruk Diken, Technical Cooperation Chief Coordinator; Lala Yusifova, Country Representative of the Bank, and other representatives.
The Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, firstly spoke about the significant responsibilities ahead following the Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, in the Patriotic War, and the ensuring of the territorial integrity of our country.
The participants were briefed on the goals, values, and main directions of activity of the Fund. During the meeting, Dr. Farid Ahmed Khan, the Country Operations Manager of the Islamic Development Bank, noted that during his visit, he had held meetings with several state institutions, emphasizing the special attention given to the Karabakh issue during all discussions.
The head of the delegation stated that the work carried out in the liberated territories within a short period is commendable. Expressing satisfaction with his visit to the country, Dr. Farid Ahmed Khan put forward proposals for cooperation with the Karabakh Revival Fund in the direction of restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh.
There was an extensive exchange of ideas on mutually beneficial cooperation opportunities between the parties.
