Rahman Hajiyev, as the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, participated in the discussion of the draft law "On the Cultural Capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha" in the Milli Majlis.
According to this draft law, the "Shusha City State Reserve Department" will be established within the administrative boundaries of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
The draft law presented for parliamentary discussion will regulate the main directions of state policy in Shusha, legal regulation in the Shusha territory and its protection zone, restoration, protection, study, use, and promotion of monuments, environmental protection, construction, architecture, urban planning activities, transportation organization, management of the housing stock, entrepreneurship, advertising, tourism, and other activities, as well as the organization of international events in Shusha.
Rahman Hajiyev presented some proposals and opinions regarding the draft law to the attention of the members of parliament and colleagues.
At the end of the discussions, it was decided that the draft law should be recommended for the first reading at the plenary session of the parliament.
