1st International Scientific-Practical Conference on "Building a New Economy in Karabakh: Development impulses from Aghdam"
Articles are still being accepted for the international scientific-practical conference to be held in Aghdam
The deadline for the submission of articles and abstracts is September 10th.
This year, the plenary session of the conference organized by the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam region, the Ministry of Economy, the Karabakh Revival Fund and the Institute of Economics of ANAS will take place in Aghdam on September 16-17. Other sessions will be held online.
At the conference, the following topics will be discussed:
- Establishment of a new economy in Aghdam: economic potential, priorities, expectations;
- Natural resources and green energy potential of Aghdam and Karabakh as a whole;
- Balance between traditional and non-traditional sectors of the economy in Karabakh;
- Discussions on the return of internally displaced persons to Aghdam and Karabakh as a whole.
Articles and abstracts should be prepared in accordance with the requirements below and sent to agdam@pa.gov.az no later than September 10th. Articles and abstracts are accepted in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, and English languages and in electronic format.
Here is the formatting guideline for the articles:
The document should be in "Microsoft Word" format, with A4 size.
Use "Times New Roman" font, with a font size of 12.
Line spacing should be set to 1.15.
Margins: Left - 3 cm, Right - 1 cm, Top and Bottom - 2 cm.
The article should be between 15,000 to 20,000 characters, and the abstracts should be between 2,000 to 2,500 characters.
The title of the article should be in uppercase, bold, and font size 12.
Author(s) name(s) should be in font size 12, with their full name, academic degree, scientific title, the name of the institution they work or study at (for doctoral and postgraduate students), email address, and contact number.
The summary of the article should be written in 11-point font and should not exceed 1,000 characters.
The bibliography should be arranged alphabetically in 11-point font.
Please ensure that your article adheres to these formatting guidelines before submission.
It is important for the articles to include the following sections:
- Problem Statement (or Introduction)
- Analysis and Evaluation
- Conclusion and Recommendations
