On December 25, 2024, an event was held on "The role of solidarity in the restoration of Karabakh" organized by the Karabakh Revival Fund.
The event, which took place within the framework of the Karabakh Revival Fund Friends business platform, was attended by donors and partners of the Fund, members of parliament, heads of NGOs, entrepreneurs, media and public representatives.
Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, delivered an opening speech and informed the event participants about the Fund's activities, implemented projects, results of 2024 and future plans.
Rahman Hajiyev noted that the Fund's commitment to transparency, accountability, and close cooperation with the community, as well as its adherence to modern corporate governance principles, will greatly contribute to establishing and developing cooperation with both local and international institutions:
"Of course, it is very important that the Fund's activities are based on the principles of transparency. We understand this, and that is why we chose to have an external audit conducted by PwC Azerbaijan, one of the world's leading audit firms. The opinion of this company on the Fund's financial statements, as well as the fact that the Fund constantly discloses its financial statements to the public, indicates that the donated funds are managed transparently".
Emphasizing the importance of donor support in the implementation of projects carried out by the Fund in the territories liberated from the occupation by our valiant Army under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, H.E. President Ilham Aliyev, Rahman Hajiyev thanked all partners and donors who closely cooperate with the Fund, as well as the heads of media outlets covering the Fund's activities. According to him, it is possible to achieve the restoration of the liberated territories in the shortest possible time only by demonstrating solidarity.
Then, detailed information about the results of the "Night of Karabakh" charity concert, "Colors of Karabakh", "Revival Cup" charity football tournament, "Everything for Karabakh" campaign organized together with "Azerlotereya" and other projects, which were implemented with the support of the Fund's donors and aimed at attracting donations to the Fund, was presented to the event participants.
At the event, members of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nigar Mammadova, Vugar Iskenderov, Elchin Mirzabeyli, Vugar Rahimzade, Nagif Hamzayev and Chairman of the Azerbaijan Press Council Rashad Majid highly appreciated the activities of the Karabakh Revival Fund and called on the event participants to contribute to the restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated territories.
Then, Dilara Baylarova, Chief Marketing Officer of Azerlotereya OJSC, informed about the "Everything for Karabakh" project implemented jointly with the Fund and noted that this project makes a great contribution to the promotion of the donation culture in our country. Ilgar Nuri, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Veyseloglu Group of Companies, which supports various projects of the Fund, also spoke about the importance and benefits of these projects.
After the speeches, a broad exchange of views took place on the topics discussed, as well as on ensuring transparency in the restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated territories, and joint steps to be taken were discussed.
