Karabakh Revival Fund and "AmCham Azerbaijan" Held Meeting on “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance”

On March 4, 2025, a business meeting dedicated to the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh and the promotion of philanthropy was held with the participation of members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan ("AmCham Azerbaijan"). The event gathered over 100 members of "AmCham Azerbaijan", as well as representatives of numerous local and international companies. Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF), attended as a honorable guest speaker.

Zaur Karimov, Director of Operations at "AmCham Azerbaijan", delivered the opening speech, welcoming the participants and providing an overview of AmCham’s ongoing and upcoming projects.

Dayanat Sadullayev, President of "AmCham Azerbaijan", addressed the audience, presenting information about the organization’s activities and its cooperation with the Karabakh Revival Fund. He praised KRF’s contributions to the restoration of the liberated territories and emphasized that AmCham intends to play a more active role in future projects. Highlighting the significance of this collaboration, he noted that AmCham members now have the opportunity to visit and witness reconstruction projects firsthand, calling it a valuable experience.

Attending as an honorary guest, Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the topic "Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance".

In his speech, Rahman Hajiyev emphasized that the historic victory of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War, under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, has created new opportunities in the region. He highlighted that large-scale restoration and reconstruction efforts are progressing rapidly, including the restoration of settlements and historical monuments, construction of new roads and bridges, establishment of industrial enterprises, and the resettlement of displaced populations under the Great Return Program.

It was noted that the Karabakh Revival Fund actively implements fundraising and promotional projects across various platforms to accelerate the restoration and reconstruction of liberated territories. Such events help unite stakeholders, government institutions, and businesses under the "Revival of Karabakh" mission while also fostering a culture of philanthropy and strengthening national and moral values. There are excellent opportunities for joint projects between "AmCham Azerbaijan" members and the Karabakh Revival Fund.

Rahman Hajiyev called on local and international investors to contribute to the reconstruction and sustainable development of Karabakh, emphasizing the importance of strengthening public-private sector partnerships and promoting philanthropy to support infrastructure, education, and social initiatives.

The Chairman also provided detailed information on key initiatives carried out with the support of KRF’s donors, including completed projects and ongoing efforts aimed at fundraising and promoting contributions to the Fund.

Following his speech, Rahman Hajiyev answered participants' questions and discussed potential collaboration opportunities in reconstruction projects.

At the end of the event, Rahman Hajiyev was presented with a special appreciation award by "AmCham Azerbaijan".

Additionally, the event featured a photo exhibition titled "From Tragedy to Victory", showcasing the ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories.
