Sustainable Resettlement
As known, "The Great Return to the liberated territories" was listed as one of the 5 national goals indicated in the document ‘Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development’ signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev.
To achieve this goal successfully, the sustainable resettlement of internally displaced persons and new residents in the liberated territories must be ensured, these territories must be transformed into the most robust, modern and prosperous residential environment for the society, and a comfortable living environment must be created here based on modern principles for sustainable resettlement.
The creation of comprehensively safe and favorable living conditions will be of great importance for the permanent settlement of citizens.
To this end, decent living conditions should be provided in the liberated territories, modern infrastructure should be established, and easy access to a comfortable lifestyle and modern services should be provided. By efficiently utilizing the economic potential of the region, it is necessary to ensure that the population’s resettlement level reaches the pre-occupation level.
In this context, the Karabakh Revival Fund intends to support projects in the following areas, in close cooperation with relevant government structures, the non-governmental sector, and businesses:
