The Supervisory Board meeting of the Karabakh Revival Fund has been held

The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund took place.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov, members of the Board - Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, Member of Parliament Tural Ganjaliyev, Member of Parliament Fatma Yildirim, Rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University Adalat Muradov, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov, and also the Chairman of the Executive Board Rahman Hajiyev participated. 

Firstly, on behalf of the Board members, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mikail Jabbarov congratulated Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev on his election as Chairman of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which will be held in our country in November this year, expressing confidence that the event will be held at a high level.

It should be noted that the decision to hold such a prestigious event as COP29 in Azerbaijan is another triumph for our country.

Then, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board discussed current issues, including the approval of the Fund's budget for 2024, improvement of rules for providing financial support for restoration and reconstruction works, approval of the external auditor, and other relevant issues.

The Chairman of the Executive Board of the Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, presented detailed information on these matters to the Supervisory Board.

 It is worth noting that the members of the Board made relevant decisions regarding all the discussed issues.

The members of the Board expressed their approval of the work and activity directions of the Fund and gave appropriate instructions to the Chairman of the Executive Board.
