Let's donate trees to the "Marathon Garden" in Karabakh!

With the organization of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, this year's Baku Marathon will take place on May 7th.

The attention of the participants and spectators of the marathon will be directed towards the damage caused to the environment around Karabakh as a result of the Armenian occupation and the importance of eliminating this damage. For this purpose, with the financial support of the Karabakh Revival Fund and the donor of the fund, the "Stevedoring" company, the winners of the "Baku Marathon - 2023" will contribute to the creation of the "Marathon Garden" in Karabakh.

More than 1500 trees will be planted in this garden and a modern irrigation system will be installed to ensure their durability.

Also, a special green pavilion called the "Marathon Garden" will be created by the KRF in the fan zone of the marathon, which will be held on May 7th on the Baku Boulevard.

Visitors will be able to support the creation of the "Marathon Garden" in Karabakh by donating through payment terminals and smartphones installed at the stand. Special "Donation Certificates" will be presented to donors.

It should be noted that support for ecological projects is one of the strategic directions of the Foundation's activities.

For this purpose, on September 23, 2021, a Memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Karabakh Revival Fund regarding cooperation in the restoration of the environment and infrastructure in the liberated territories.
