On July 27, a meeting was held between the representatives of leading companies and members of the public, who are donors and partners of the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF), under the organization of the Karabakh Revival Fund and with the participation of Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the areas liberated from occupation and integrated into the economic region of Karabakh (excluding the Shusha region).

The meeting, held within the framework of the "Friends of the Karabakh Revival Fund" business platform, included the participation of the winners of the "Yukselish" competition and representatives of the public. Discussions revolved around the reconstruction and development process in Karabakh, the collaboration between business, society, and government structures in this regard, the return of former displaced persons to Karabakh, and other related topics.

Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan, presented on the topic of "Karabakh: Reconstruction and Development, Investment Opportunities in the Region," providing extensive information on the reconstruction and development efforts in the liberated territories.

Highlighting the rapid progress of the reconstruction and development process, Emin Huseynov noted that the funds allocated for the restoration of the liberated territories would reach 12 billion manats by the end of the year, emphasizing that this amount would increase annually.

Providing details on infrastructure projects in the liberated territories, Emin Huseynov emphasized the significant agricultural, economic, and tourism potential of these areas and mentioned that these potentials would be fully utilized after the completion of the reconstruction process.

Following his presentation, Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Karabakh Revival Fund, shared his thoughts on the ongoing reconstruction and development efforts in the liberated territories, expressing appreciation for the contributions of the Fund's donors:

"In our previous meetings, we talked more about the destruction and damage caused by the enemy on our lands. Today, we discuss more about reconstruction and development works. This is very encouraging."

Acknowledging the magnitude of the damage, the Chairman of the Executive Board urged everyone to actively participate in the reconstruction process:

"Azerbaijan, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, is carrying out the reconstruction works with its own resources and capabilities. We should not expect help from anyone. Just as we showed solidarity during the war, we must restore our lands ourselves. Our joint steps can both reduce the burden on the state in the reconstruction process and accelerate the work done in the direction of reconstruction and development."

The discussions continued with debates. During the nearly hour-long discussions, participants' various questions were answered, covering the role of companies in the reconstruction and development of Karabakh, the employment of youth in the liberated territories, the Great Return process, and other related topics.
