In Ganja, "Karabakh Night" Charity Concert Held under the Initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund

On June 17, 2023, in the city of Ganja, the "Karabakh Night" charity concert was organized under the initiative and organization of the Karabakh Revival Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the sponsorship of Veyseloglu Group of Companies.

The concert, held at the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikrat Amirov, was attended by the families of martyrs and veterans, government officials, members of parliament, representatives of donor companies supporting the restoration of the liberated territories, partners of the Fund, distinguished cultural and art figures, as well as residents of Ganja.

The concert was facilitated  by renowned Azerbaijani presenters Tural Asadov and Narmin Khalilova.

First and foremost, a minute of silence was observed in memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our homeland.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, provided information about the main purpose of the concert, emphasizing that the funds raised would contribute to the projects aimed at the restoration of Karabakh.

"We take pride in contributing to the extensive construction and development works in the liberated territories following the glorious victory of our victorious army led by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, in the Patriotic War," said the Chairman of the Executive Board.

The Chairman of Executive Board extended gratitude to everyone who supported the realization of the "Karabakh Night" charity concert and contributed to the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories by purchasing tickets.

Addressing the audience, the Chief Executive Officer of the main sponsor of the concert, Veyseloglu Group of Companies, Burak Deniz, emphasized the importance of supporting such initiatives and highlighted the necessity of solidarity in the activities aimed at the restoration of the liberated territories.

Following the speeches, the event continued with performances. The concert, broadcast live on cultural television, featured performances by People's Artists Azer Zeynalov, Teyyub Aslanov, Simare İmanova, and Merited Artists Gulustan Aliyeva, Aybeniz Hashımova, Nuriyye Huseynova, Sevinj Sarıyeva, as well as soloists Vafa Vazirova, Taleh Yahyayev, Fakhri Kazım-Nijat, Jalal Karimov, Nurlana Abdullayeva, and the Merited Collective named after F.Amirov of the Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble and the ensemble's instrumental group, along with the students of the "Art Academy."

After the artistic performances, the event continued with an official reception. Donors who contributed to the organization of the concert by purchasing tickets were presented with "Certificates of Gratitude" from the Fund, including Veyseloglu Group of Companies, Ministry of Justice, Bank of Baku, Kapital Bank, Yellow Bank, Bar Association, Ganja City Bar Association, Liv Bona Dea Hospital, Heydar Aliyev Modern Education Complex, Caspian Event Organizers LLC, Universal Pro LLC, Embawood, McDonald's, and Azerlotereya CJSC.

It is worth noting that the proceeds from the concert will be directed towards the restoration of the Imarat complex of Panahali Khan located in the Agdam region.

It is also worth remembering that the first charity concert titled "Karabakh Night" was held on June 26, 2022, at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall in Baku, sponsored by the Aurora Group. The funds raised from the concert were used to purchase musical instruments for one of the cultural institutions in Shusha city.
