A series of meetings continues to be held to discuss the project for the Fuzuli Central Park initiated by the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF).
The next meeting on the subject took place with representatives from the Fuzuli community.
At the meeting, Rahman Hajiyev the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, 84th district deputy Vugar Bayramov, the director of the project and “By Medgalchi” company Huseyn Medgalchi, representatives from the Fuzuli community including Umud Mirzayev, the President of the International Eurasian Press Foundation, Nazim Muzaffarli the Head Director of the Economic Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education, Baylar Hajiyev the Head of the English Language Department at Baku State University, Amil Zalov the father of Second Karabakh War martyr Faqan Zalov, Zahir Hasanov a military retiree, Rafiq Rustamov the director of "Talat" company, businessman Bakir Babayev, donor Arshad Huseynov, as well as colleagues from the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation (except for the Shusha district) Eldar Seyidov and Fidan Akhundova, and Ovsat Hamidov the Executive Director of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in the Karabakh Economic Region, were among the participants.
Participants of the meeting conducted discussions around various topics concerning the role and significance of the Fuzuli Central Park in the life of the city, the provision of suitable conditions for organizing social and cultural events in the park, the creation of functional zones tailored to different types of activities within the park area, and other related issues.
Opening the event, Rahman Hajiyev the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, stated that the concept design of the Fuzuli Central Park had been prepared taking into account the directives and recommendations of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to him, the development of the park will not only contribute significantly to the restoration of ecological balance in the area but will also transform it into one of the most beautiful places for relaxation for the residents of Fuzuli, as well as for the city's guests and tourists.
Huseyn Medgalchi the director of “By Medgalchi” LTD and the project leader, provided detailed information about the concept of the Fuzuli Central Park to the participants of the meeting. He noted that the park area, where various tree species and decorative plants will be planted, is planned to include recreation areas, open green spaces, zones for picnics and sports activities, an amphitheater, cafes, restaurants, and more.
Participants who had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the pre-conceptual design of the Fuzuli Central Park voiced their opinions and suggestions regarding the topic. They positively evaluated the consideration of international best practices, especially the study of the opinions and suggestions of Fuzuli residents, during the project planning phase.
At the end of the discussion, which lasted for over two hours, Rahman Hajiyev the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, expressed his gratitude to the participants for their ideas and suggestions.
It should be noted that further meetings with stakeholders regarding the development of the Fuzuli Central Park project will continue.
It is worth mentioning that the project is being implemented at the initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund.
