At the “Narimanov” station of the Baku Metro, the “Urbicide in Karabakh” exhibition has begun.
The exhibition, organized jointly by Baku Metro CJSC and the Karabakh Revival Fund, features nearly 90 photos depicting the cities, towns, as well as historical, cultural and religious monuments destroyed by Armenian vandals in Karabakh.
Initiated at the behest of Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the exhibition is based on materials from the “Karabakh.Center” internet resource created by the Karabakh Revival Fund. It offers metro passengers the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the material and cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people in Karabakh, as well as the biodiversity and natural resources of the region, damaged during the 30-year occupation period.
Each photograph presented during the six-month exhibition period showcases the current and pre-occupation condition of the monuments. QR codes placed on the photos provide more detailed information and offer opportunities for donations towards the restoration of Karabakh.
We invite everyone interested in learning about the destruction caused by Armenian vandals in Karabakh to visit the “Urbicide in Karabakh” exhibition at the “Narimanov” station.
It should be noted that the dissemination of information about the destruction caused by Armenians in our liberated territories, as well as their illegal actions and the damage inflicted on Karabakh as a result of the occupation, is of particular importance to the wider public.
The success of the restoration work in the liberated territories depends directly on the support of all members of society and the dissemination of information about the extent of the damage inflicted on Karabakh.
For this purpose, the Karabakh Revival Fund organizes the “Urbicide in Karabakh” photo exhibition, reflecting the destruction caused by Armenians in the occupied territories, on various platforms continuously.
The “Urbicide in Karabakh” photo exhibition has been organized at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, at the “Rebuild Karabakh 2022” exhibition, in major shopping centers, higher education institutions, and other locations.
Thousands of visitors have had the opportunity not only to familiarize themselves with the photos of the cities, towns, and historical, cultural, and religious monuments destroyed by Armenian vandals in Karabakh but also to receive information about the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in Karabakh.
