The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) organized an educational training on the danger of mines and explosive remnants of war for the employees of the Karabakh Revival FundThe training, was conducted by the Head Specialist of ANAMA's Education Department, Jeykhun Guliyev, with the participation of the Chairman of the Executive Board of Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, and approximately 20 colleagues.

Participants were provided with information on types of mines, signs of hazardous areas, behavior guidelines in unfamiliar suspicious areas, safety signs, and various examples of explosive ordnance were demonstrated.

It was emphasized that educational activities regarding mine and unexploded ordnance risk, which are one of the main criteria of mine action, play a crucial role in preventing mine incidents among institutions operating in the liberated territories, as well as ensuring the safety of the civilian population.

Therefore, it is of particular importance to inform people, especially those traveling to the liberated areas, about the risks of mines and explosive ordnance, as well as behavior guidelines in those areas.

At the end of the training, participants' questions were answered, informative and warning brochures on mine risk were provided to them, as a training manual on basic safety rules.
