A meeting was held between the Karabakh Revival Fund and the leadership of the  DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey)

On June 13, 2022, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Cooperation Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) visited our country as part of their trip and paid a visit to the Karabakh Revival Fund. 

The meeting was attended by Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Kemal Kologlu, the President of the Executive Committee of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Cooperation Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), and members of the Committee.

During the meeting, mutual interests between Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed, along with opportunities for collaboration in the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories. 

Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, provided detailed information to the guests about the mission of the Fund, its main directions of activity, priorities, as well as the ongoing projects and initiatives undertaken by the Fund. 

R. Hajiyev spoke about the magnificent Victory of the Azerbaijani Army led by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Victorious Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, which put an end to the long-standing occupation of Karabakh, thereby strengthening unity and solidarity in our country. 

When discussing the extent of the damage inflicted on Karabakh as a result of the Armenian occupation, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Fund emphasized the importance of accelerating the restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories. He noted that in addition to the measures implemented by the state to expedite the "Great Return," it is crucial for the society to show solidarity and actively participate in this process. 

R. Hacıyev stated that currently, extensive measures are being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the head of state to ensure the restoration and sustainable development of the liberated territories, including the establishment of modern infrastructure, restoration of cultural and historical monuments, and the creation of decent living conditions in those areas. 

Kemal Kologlu, the President of the Executive Committee of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Cooperation Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), expressed their readiness to provide support for the restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories and to share their experiences in relevant fields.
