On October 7, 2021, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Karabakh Revival Fund and executives of major business entities.
The event, attended by business entities operating in the country, featured speeches by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, who is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, as well as the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, who is a member of the Supervisory Board. Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Fund's, also delivered remarks during the meeting.
It was emphasized that under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the brave Azerbaijani Army successfully completed the important mission of liberating our occupied territories. It was noted that after the Patriotic War, new challenges emerged, and the restoration and revival of our liberated territories were set as crucial tasks.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided to the participants about the purpose of the Fund's establishment and its areas of activity. The importance of supporting the restoration efforts in Karabakh and promoting a culture of donation in society was discussed.
Discussions were held with the participants of the event regarding the work to be done in the direction of the restoration of the liberated territories, including extensive discussions about the activities of the Karabakh Revival Fund in this area.
During the discussions, the expansion of cooperation with business entities, the development of public-private sector partnerships and the importance of engaging the community in supporting the restoration efforts in the liberated territories were emphasized.
For this purpose, non-donor event participants were invited to contribute by donating to support the restoration and reconstruction efforts in Karabakh.
During the event, the film "Urbicide in Karabakh" depicting destroyed buildings and devastated historical monuments was screened.
During the event, donor certificates were presented to the companies that donated to the Karabakh Revival Fund to support the work being done in the liberated territories. The following companies received donor certificates: Caspian Drilling Company, BOS Shelf, Cinema Plus, Zeytun Pharmaceuticals, AS Group Investment, Bakcell, Norm, Pasha Holdinq, Stevedoring, Pasha Insurance, Pasha Life Insurance, Embawood, Modenis, Rahat Market, Bakelektro, Baku Cable Goknur, Grandmart, Azgranata, North West Construction and Tabaterra.
In addition to donor companies, leaders of other leading business entities such as Azersun Holdinq, Veyseloglu group of companies, ISR Holdinq, Tekfen Construction, Evrascon, Cahan Holdinq, ARASH Medical Company, Avromed, Azvirt, Avrora, Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation, Aspi-Agro, OMG international, Kontakt Home, Optimal Electronica, Best Comp and Nobel Oil Services also participated in the meeting.
The Karabakh Revival Fund, established by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is a public legal entity aimed at providing financial support and attracting investments to implement measures for the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories, transforming them into a sustainable economy and a region of high prosperity. It fosters the development of public-private partnerships in this area and carries out necessary promotional activities both domestically and internationally.
