On December 20, 2021, the Supervisory Board Meeting of the Karabakh Revival Fund took place.

In attendance were the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and members of the Board including Mukhtar Babayev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Affairs, Fatma Yıldırım, Member of the National Assembly, Adalat Muradov, Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Kamal Abdulla, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, and Alim Qasimov, People's Artist of Azerbaijan, along with Rahman Hajıyev, Chairman of the Board of the Fund.

Initially, Mikayil Jabbarov, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, greeted the participants of the meeting. Later, Rahman Hajıyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Fund, provided detailed information about the current issues to the Supervisory Board.

During the meeting, discussions were held on various topics including the strategic directions of the Karabakh Revival Fund's activities for 2022-2025, the fundraising and communication plan for 2022, the rules for granting grants, and the Fund's standards policy. Additionally, the selection of an external auditor for the Fund was discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the documents mentioned above were approved by the Supervisory Board. It is worth noting that proposals from several audit firms were considered by the Supervisory Board, and "PwC" was confirmed as the external auditor for the Fund.

At the end of the session, the Supervisory Board expressed their agreement on the work and activity directions of the Fund, assigning appropriate tasks for the discussion of other issues presented during the meeting at the next session.
