The "Urbicide in Karabakh" photo exhibition, based on various materials from the "Karabakh.Center" internet resource, initiated by the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, will be showcased at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport from November 16.
Organized through the joint initiative of the Karabakh Revival Fund and the State Customs Committee, the exhibition will be held at the "Terminal-1 International Airport" customs post area for a month. Members of the State Customs Committee's "Volunteer Customs Officers" team, attracted to the exhibition, will inform passengers traveling by air throughout the day about the exhibited photographs and provide information about the activities of the Karabakh Revival Fund.
The exhibition is organized to demonstrate the scale of the damage to our material and cultural heritage in Karabakh, the region's biodiversity, and natural resources during the 30-year occupation period. It is of particular importance to disseminate information to the wider public about the destruction caused by Armenians in the liberated territories of our country, the illegal actions they carried out, and the damage inflicted on Karabakh as a result of the occupation.
Indeed, the support of all members of society for the restoration work in the liberated territories directly depends on informing them about the extent of the damage inflicted on Karabakh. For this purpose, the Karabakh Revival Fund regularly organizes the "Urbicide in Karabakh" photo exhibition, which reflects the destruction caused by Armenians in the occupied territories, on various platforms.
It is worth noting that the same exhibition has been held since October 1 in major shopping centers in Baku, such as "Ganjlik Mall," "Port Baku Mall," and "28 Mall."The "Karabakh.Center" (https://karabakh.center/en) internet resource, created with the aim of systematizing and disseminating objective information about the causes of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and the consequences of Armenian aggression to the wider public, provides an opportunity for the Azerbaijani people to familiarize themselves with the scale of the damage inflicted on the material and cultural heritage of Karabakh, as well as its biodiversity and natural resources, based on specific examples.
In this project, more than 10,000 photo facts and videos of objects destroyed and seriously damaged by Armenians in the liberated territories are presented. All photos and videos are placed in the "Urbicide" section of the website. In this section, it is also possible to familiarize oneself with hundreds of photos taken before the occupation, featuring architectural monuments.
The Karabakh Revival Fund is a public legal entity that provides financial support for measures aimed at the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as attracting investments, ensuring public-private partnership development in this area, and implementing necessary promotion activities both domestically and internationally.
